    We wash the rice in 2-3 waters, and then we put it to boil in a saucepan.

    As I said in the previous post, the proportions we use when cooking rice are as follows: to one cup of rice, we add two cups of water.

    We add the water over the rice and the diced vegetables, the peas, and season with salt and pepper.

    Let everything boil, covered, for about 15-20 minutes. From time to time we can mix to make sure that the preparation does not stick to the pan. When it's ready, turn off the heat and let it rest.

    We can serve this dish with grated Parmesan on top, as a side dish or with a fresh green salad.
